Professional baseball players expected to be finishing up Spring Training right about now. Instead, players are at home looking for ways to stay in shape during this strange time of social distancing due to COVID-19. Baltimore Orioles pitcher Branden Kline has shared an interesting workout involving his dog, and we should all take note.

That's a good boy or girl.

This is no corgi. Kline is squatting while holding a substantial labrador, who happens to be enjoying itself during the workout quite a lot. The dog is even panting as it pretends to be the one actually doing the work. Nothing like having a dog as a training partner! They won't yell at you or push you too far past your limit.

The Orioles' Twitter account ended up going all-in with the dog content, as teams are seeking anything to talk about during this MLB shutdown.

There are no rules about maintaining any sort of distance from dogs, after all.

Dogs remain the best, and watching them have fun is much better than reading or watching the news all day. Kline and his best friend may have also inspired others to start training with their dogs, and few pups will turn down such an offer. That's exactly as it should be.
