The Washington Nationals will begin their title defense of the first championship in franchise history, and they will do so against the 2019 AL pennant winning Houston Astros, who will play their first game post-sign stealing revelations.

Washington will start several starters from that World Series team, including center fielder Victor Robles and left fielder Juan Soto. New signing Eric Thames is also in the lineup at first base.
Astros Lineup
New manager Dusty Baker and the Astros made the incredibly weak, embarrassing decision to not play any of the star players that have been taking the brunt of the criticism, as it pertains to sign-stealing. Only three players in this lineup have any major league experience at all.

The Astros went out of their way to not put any of their established starters in this game, so the Nationals have the much stronger team on paper.
