In Game 1 of the 2019 World Series, the Washington Nationals somehow made Gerrit Cole look mortal and beat the Houston Astros by a score of 5-4. Now, they'll look to build on that momentum tonight.

Game 2 will commence at 8:07 p.m. ET from Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. The game will be broadcast via FOX. Live streams can be found through Reddit's MLB streams subreddit.
Tonight, two more aces will face off, with Justin Verlander on the mound for the Astros and Stephen Strasburg taking the hill for the Nationals. Verlander's put up some uncharacteristically poor performances thus far in the playoffs, with a 1-2 record to go along with a 3.70 ERA. Meanwhile, Strasburg's gone 3-0 with a 1.64 ERA and 33 strikeouts.
The Nationals put up five runs against Cole in seven innings, leading to his first loss since the month of May. Juan Soto led the way with a home run and a two-run double off Cole, with veteran Ryan Zimmerman adding a solo shot of his own and Adam Eaton driving in another run.
Max Scherzer limited the Astros' bats just enough to escape with the win, pitching five innings before handing the ball off to the bullpen.
We'll see whether Verlander or Strasburg will step up for their team tonight, and who'll be able to hit them.
