Game 1 of the ALCS didn't go the way the Houston Astros had envisioned. The bats were tamed by New York Yankees ace Masahiro Tanaka, while Zack Greinke was bullied by 22-year-old phenom Glebyer Torres in the team's 7-0 loss on Saturday night at home.

The Astros look to tie the series up on Sunday night, and plan to do it with the following lineup.

The top third of the order remains the same, as George Springer bats leadoff, followed by Michael Brantley and Jose Altuve. Alex Bregman is in the cleanup spot, with Yordan Alvarez batting fifth, and Yuli Gurriel sixth. Rounding out the order is Carlos Correa, Robinson Chirinos, and lone change to the lineup, Jake Marisnick, in for his defense.

Houston feels like they'll have an advantage over the Yankees, as they have Justin Verlander taking the mound at home in Minute Maid Park. Verlander is coming off a rare off game, as he surrendered four earned runs on seven hits in 3.2 innings against the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 4 of the ALDS (on three days' rest).

Having Justin Verlander pitch well is good and all, but the Houston Astros will need to come alive against James Paxton if they plan on tying the ALCS at one game apiece.
