Josh Reddick tried oh so hard not to make a statement that could come back to bite the Astros before Game 3 of the ALCS. Yet, he didn't choose his words carefully enough.

Reddick just gave Yankee fans some extra ammo, adding in a bizarre complaint about the security guards near the Bleacher Creatures fan section in right field.

“The most frustrating part is there’s no action taken,” Reddick said, regarding the Bronx Zoo atmosphere. “You look at the security guards — they’re just watching, not saying a thing to anybody. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the ones helping to say that. It’s just a matter of circumstance to where they just let it ride.”

Reddick claims that Yankee fans have always been harsh to him, taking the time to memorize just about everything on the outfielder's Wikipedia page before a big game. Surely, this potentially series-changing Game 3 will be no exception, especially after Reddick riled up one of the more boisterous fanbases in all of baseball.

If Reddick thought Yankee fans were rude before, he might want to wear earplugs heading into the Bronx for Game 3.
