Arkansas Fires Head Coach Chad Morris After Worst 2 Years in Program History

Under Chad Morris' watch, Arkansas has become the doormat of the SEC just a few years removed from going to three straight bowl games. After getting their butt kicked at home by Western Kentucky, the Razorbacks finally did what needed to be done.

After posting a 4-18 record with zero SEC wins during his tenure, Morris was relieved of his duties as Arkansas head coach.

Morris, who was hired after going 7-5 at SMU in 2017, has been nothing short of a dumpster fire. Tulsa and Colorado State are the only FBS teams that he managed to beat during his stint in Fayetteville.

Morris lost not only to former Razorback Ty Storey and the Hilltoppers this past week, but also has loses against Colorado State, North Texas, and San Jose State on his resume. For an Air Raid guy that used to be Deshaun Watson's offensive coordinator at Clemson, his passing offenses, led by the likes of Ben Hicks, Nick Starkel, and John Stephen Jones, looked like something out of a local high school.

Bret Bielema doesn't look so bad, now does he?

Arkansas might be in the roughest division in the country in the SEC West, but this is a program that should consistently be in the seven wins per year range as opposed to winning two games a season and losing to Western Kentucky at home. The good news for Razorbacks fans is that there's nowhere to go but up.
