Antonio Brown's seemingly endless wait to find a new team could finally be over, as Sean Payton is considering bringing him in.

Brown, who hasn't played since Week 2, is in New Orleans on Friday and is working out for the Saints, per Adam Schefter.

If he does end up signing, it is not the first time New Orleans has taken a chance on a troublesome wide receiver late in the season, as evidenced by the Dez Bryant signing last season.

AB famously demanded a trade out of Pittsburgh, but then forced his way out of Oakland before he ever played a game for the Raiders. Brown has played just one game this season, as the New England Patriots cut him thanks to his pending sexual assault investigation.

Whether this is simply due diligence or more than that, Brown himself posted his free agent waiver, and provided proof he's in the building.

There is no doubt that from a pure football perspective, Brown and Michael Thomas in the same offense would be nothing short of impossible to guard, but New Orleans will have to deal with the tsunami of bad PR that comes with him. If they are willing to absorb that blow, Brown could help make the Saints Super Bowl favorites.

Weirder Week 17 addition: Marshawn Lynch or AB?
