Antonio Brown Texts Ian Rapoport Nearly Incoherent Message Describing Anger With Raiders
By Chris Pyo

Antonio Brown's been going through a lot.
In case you've somehow missed the soap opera that has consumed much of the NFL preseason, Brown was released today by the Raiders after daring the franchise to release him in an Instagram caption.
Now that he's been given his wish, insider details are being released to the public regarding this situation, and this reported exchange with NFL insider Ian Rapoport really doesn't portray Brown as the sharpest, most lucid guy around.
An explanation for why #Raiders WR Antonio Brown was so upset, from AB to me: “Told me do not come in Thursday. Bad my name. Then come work, give two papers after the press conference. No guaranteed no way."

Yes, AB must be feeling a wave of emotions after everything he's gone through, but the man has to at least be able to string together a coherent message for an ace reporter who would most likely be posting that exchange online.
Or maybe Brown's a huge fan of "The Office" and he wants to emulate Kevin's strategy of using fewer words to say more?

Either way, this fiasco has already driven plenty of people up the wall, both for the Raiders and for any other team that would even slightly consider adding Brown to their squad.
In regard to Bills’ interest in signing Antonio Brown, team source replies (and I’m copying and pasting the exact text):

?
It truly is a shame that Brown's questionable, erratic character is getting in the way of his ability to show off his generational talent and not lose out on almost $30 million in "guarantees." Oh, well. Maybe he can get a do-over and text Adam Schefter next?
