The (latest) Antonio Brown saga continues to press on, as the star wide receiver never seems fully content. You'd think after having his wish granted and being dealt to Oakland that AB would put his head down and get to work, but that's just never the case with No. 84.

Brown's latest grievance, as you've surely heard, is to do with his helmet of preference, which is no longer eligible to be used in the league. After informing Brown he'd be forced to swap gear, the wideout childishly threatened to retire from the league.

Since then, negotiations between Brown and the league have been ongoing, and according to reports, AB's camp issued a pretty glaring warning during Friday's grievance hearing.

So, if Brown suffers a head injury while wearing a helmet that is scientifically proven to be safer than his, he wants to put the blame on the NFL and would hold them liable.

Obviously this puts the NFL in a very uncomfortable position. As the league attempts to promote player safety, one of its star athletes seems entirely uninterested in what studies have proven, and would still prefer to play in his old helmet despite the terrible safety grade it was issued.

Hopefully this matter gets solved soon. While Brown claims his preferred helmet, the Schutt Air Advantage, enables him to better track the ball and have greater vision of the field, using it comes with a major health risk. It seems AB is more interested in results on the field than maintaining his mental well-being.

AB is pulling out all the stops in his quest to avoid having to swap out his out-dated gear for some more modern and safer headwear, and it looks like he's willing to make this a full-on legal battle, if need be.
