Antonio Brown Isn't Even Wearing the Helmet He Picked After Gigantic Controversy With Raiders
By Scott Rogust

Antonio Brown has dominated the worst of NFL headlines for the better part of 2019. Prior to being accused of sexual assault and rape by his former trainer, Britney Taylor, the wide receiver spent all of training camp with the Oakland Raiders battling over his beloved Schutt AiR Advantage helmet.
Between ditching Raiders practices to threatening retirement if he couldn't wear the now-banned headgear, Brown finally picked his new helmet, the Xenith Shadow. Now, after forcing his way off the Raiders and onto the New England Patriots, Brown's new helmet is nowhere to be found.
So ... Antonio Brown isn't wearing his *new* helmet at practice now that he's on the Patriots ?https://t.co/yRiBQyRE6g

During his first practice with the Patriots on Wednesday, Brown was seen wearing a new Schutt brand helmet instead of the Xenith.

However, the "Helmet Stalker" Twitter account brought up an important point. During his final practices with Oakland, Brown was wearing the Schutt Air XP, the very same helmet he was spotted wearing in New England.

Does this mean Brown has thrown the Xenith Shadow to the wayside for good? Perhaps we'll find out in his first game of the 2019 season, which reportedly may come as early as this Sunday for the Patriots' matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
