Antonio Brown and his Schutt Air Advantage helmet have created drama deserving of a reality show.

The Oakland Raiders wide receiver was notified on Monday through an independent arbitrator that his helmet was still deemed illegal for NFL standards. However, A simple loophole can allow Brown to use type of helmet he holds near and dear to his heart.

His current model is illegal because the helmet is more than 10 years old. If he can find a version of the Schutt Air Advantage that was made more recently than 2009, Brown could technically get his wishes.

New versions have consistently been approved since the NFL has implemented their helmet standards. Production of the specific Schutt helmet stopped in 2011 leaving an extremely small time period for Brown to work with, but it's not entirely impossible.

Despite all of the drama, including threatening retirement, Brown seems ready to put this matter in the past and focus on getting healthy.

Knowing AB, that script could flip in a matter of minutes, especially with this potential loophole lingering, but let's take solace in the fact that, at least temporarily, this case seems to be closed.
