Redemption for AJ! The eyes of the boxing world were fixed on Diriyah, Saudi Arabia in a massively anticipated match between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr., the man who took his heavyweight championship belts in a massive June upset that turned the boxing world upside down. This time around, however, the story would be a different one.

Joshua-Ruiz 2 Fight Highlights

It started well for Joshua, who did well to keep the much shorter Ruiz at bay by working the jab. And toward the end of Round 1, he delivered a hard right that opened up a cut near his eye.

"Stick and move" was the name of the game for the former champ. Over and over again, he showed how much his mindset had changed since his humbling, devastating upset at Madison Square Garden.

Ruiz was well behind on every card by the midpoint of the fight, with many scorers giving him zero of the first seven rounds. But at that point, he started to wake up and assert himself. He knew he was behind. It was moving day.

Unfortunately, by the end, his bite couldn't match his bark.

In the end, the fight went the distance and was ruled a unanimous decision victory for Joshua. The two-time champ now sets his sights on the winner of February's rematch between WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder and lineal champion Tyson Fury.

Until then, the night is his. Welcome back to the penthouse, AJ.
