Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor Expected to Play vs Dolphins

The Philadelphia Eagles could barely move the ball for three quarters in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week, due in part to the fact that a former college quarterback turned practice-squad wide receiver in Greg Ward was the second-most targeted player.

The Eagles will get a major boost in their receiving corps ahead of their matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, as both Alshon Jeffrey and Nelson Agholor will return to action for Philly in 2019.

Jeffrey has been limited to eight games this season, and his 353 yards on the campaign show that he and Carson Wentz have yet to get on the same page (or be able to fully exploit their connection). Agholor's frequent drops have made him public enemy No. 1 in Philadelphia, but both of these two should be an upgrade on the likes of Ward and Mack Hollins.

With Jeffrey, Agholor, and the slowly but surely improving second-round pick JJ Arcega-Whiteside all but confirmed as the starting lineup for Philly Sunday, Wentz could be in line for some gaudy statistical numbers against a weak Miami pass defense.
