Washington Nationals fans have a lot to be excited about at the moment.

The team just squeezed by in the Wild Card game with a miracle comeback led by Juan Soto's heroics on Tuesday. And after a Game 1 loss in the NLDS, the Nats bounced back with an impressive victory against the Dodgers on Saturday to steal one on the road.

With a Game 4 guaranteed, the Nats are calling on some extra motivation. Alex Ovechkin, Capitals legend and a former champion himself, will throw out the first pitch prior to Monday's contest.

This isn't the first time Ovechkin has come out to support his fellow D.C. Area sports teams. He's been spotted at numerous games over the years, including at a Wizards playoff matchup in 2017.

We'll see if Ovi can spread his winning ways to the Nationals, as they'll look to either close out the series or stave off elimination depending on their success in Game 3.
