Alabama Student Arrested for Allegedly Calling in Threat Against LSU's Tiger Stadium
By Sam Dunn

While the LSU Tigers were taking care of business against the Florida Gators Saturday, one particular SEC is alleged to have cooked up a scary idea.
University of Alabama freshman Connor Croll was arrested by campus police under suspicion of telephoning a threat against Tiger Stadium as the football game took place in Baton Rouge. He's currently in custody in Tuscaloosa County Jail.

"We are aware of the arrest of a UA freshman over the weekend. Threats and pranks can have serious ramifications and necessitate an appropriate response. The university and UAPD are cooperating fully with the investigation, but we cannot provide any additional details on a pending matter," an Alabama spokesperson told the Tuscaloosa News.

Croll, age 19, is a native of Crozet, Virginia. It is not publicly known what criminal charges he's facing or will subsequently face, if any.
While college football rivalries are healthy between SEC schools, this is surely taking matters to the extreme and will be dealt with as such.
