Miami Dolphins fans and Alabama Crimson Tide diehards alike will finally get some clarity as to what the future holds for superstar QB Tua Tagovailoa.

The star Hawaiian said that he will decide if he will either return to Alabama or declare for the 2020 NFL draft, where he is expected to be drafted in the first round, on Monday, Jan. 6.

Tagovailoa threw 43 touchdowns in his sophomore season, and he followed that up with 33 touchdowns against just three picks in his junior season. In a blowout win against Mississippi State, Tagovailoa was lost for the rest of the season with a devastating hip injury, and that might just be enough to force him back to Alabama for one more go around.

If he does leave, quarterback Mac Jones showed that the Tide are in fine hands in their 35-16 demolition of Michigan.

Tua will almost assuredly be picked in the first round this year, and he will have to contend with Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence if he waits until 2021. However, Tagovailoa might need to prove he still has it after the hip injury, and the only way to do that could be by going back to Alabama.

The football world anxiously awaits the decision, and now fans can all mark their calendars ahead of Tua's announcement.
