Fear not Crimson Tide faithful. Alabama may have lost two of their top receivers to the NFL, Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III, but they have another star pass catcher ready to take their place. Jaylen Waddle has a chance to follow in their footsteps.

The junior receiver will be the undisputed No. 1 target for Mac Jones, as he has already put up some solid numbers over the past two seasons, even though the receiver room was crowded. Waddle accumulated 1,408 yards and 13 touchdowns on 78 catches throughout the last two seasons.

Waddle is no fluke, as he has all the attributes to become the next star receiver in Tuscaloosa. He's explosive all over the field and can run a variety of different routes, which will make him deadly in 2020.

Nick Saban's ability to recruit at the receiver position is arguably unrivaled, as Waddle is a former 4-star wideout from Texas. In the Class of 2020, Saban added 4-star receivers Thaiu Jones-Bell and Traeshon Holden.

As Alabama looks to return to the top of the SEC, Waddle's development will have a critical role in the success of the offense as a whole.
