Air Force Perfectly Trolled ESPN on Twitter After Upset Win Over Colorado

It seemed like new Colorado head coach Mel Tucker was going to coast to 3-0 following an upset win against Nebraska. All he had to do was take down Troy Calhoun and Air Force. Behind two PASSING touchdowns from Donald Hammond and 289 yards rushing behind a patented service academy triple option, the Falcons took down the Buffs 30-23 in overtime in Boulder. No one on ESPN saw this coming, and Air Force made it clear they heard all the naysayers.

As difficult as Steven Montez and Laviska Shenault can be to stop on any given day, the Falcon defense bended but did not break, as they wore down Colorado with fullback Kadin Rensberg leading the way in their flexbone triple option.

While the Pac-12 continues to struggle this year, the Mountain West continues to add more impressive non-conference wins to its resume.

Many expected a few bumps here and there in Tucker's first year in Boulder, but even the most pessimistic Colorado fans had chalked this one up as a win, so the loss doesn't lose any of the sting.
