The Minnesota Vikings will get a big boost to their offense ahead of their stretch run into the postseason.

Wide receiver Adam Thielen is likely to return to the face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday after missing the Vikings' past four games due to a lingering hamstring injury.

Thielen last played on Nov. 3 in a 26-23 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He was only on the field for seven snaps before departing due to his hamstring injury. He initially sustained the injury in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions while scoring a touchdown.

The formerly undrafted wideout did not practice last week and missed Minnesota's Week 14 clash, but it looks like he'll finally be back on the gridiron this weekend.

In eight games this season, Thielen has logged just 27 receptions for 391 yards, though he's managed to haul in six touchdown catches on the year.

The 29-year-old's injury has forced him to miss five games this year, not including Week 7 and Week 9 during which he combined for just 16 total snaps.

Hopefully Thielen's return can inject a bit more life into Minnesota's offense and propel them into the playoffs after the team missed out last year.
