Aaron Rodgers' Total Number of TD Passes to First-Round Picks Should Be Embarrassing for Packers' Front Office

What does Aaron Rodgers have to do for the Green Bay Packers to help him out in the NFL Draft? This past draft, everyone thought Brian Gutekunst and Co. would go after one of the highly-touted receivers. Instead, they drafted quarterback Jordan Love, then ignored a packed field of wideouts for seven full rounds. Woof.
As it turns out, Green Bay not helping out Rodgers in the first round is nothing new to No. 12. If you need further proof, this chart spells everything out for you.
In 15 seasons, Aaron Rodgers has thrown only ONE touchdown pass to a first-round pick.

It was to tight end Marcedes Lewis. pic.twitter.com/kQYMXqcSnz
We can only hope Rodgers didn't see this from SportsCenter. If he did, he might be even more angry than he presumably already is. The numbers don't lie here, folks. Peyton Manning has thrown 293 touchdowns to first-round selections. Eli Manning has 135, Brett Favre 127, Drew Brees 104 and the list goes on.
For Rodgers, his lone TD to a top pick was to former Green Bay tight end Marcedes Lewis, at the tail end of his career.
#Packers Brian Gutekunst repeatedly mentioned how he evaluated Jordan Love in-person against LSU this past season.

Love's stats that game: (15-30) 130 yds, 0 TD, 3 INT in a 42-6 loss.
Once again, Green Bay trading up to take Love just makes no sense, especially with Rodgers still playing at a high level as one of the best signal callers in the NFL. Another notch in his wall of slights.
