Aaron Rodgers is currently waiting out the coronavirus outbreak in his California home, but it hasn't exactly been relaxing times for the Green Bay Packers' star quarterback.

During a radio interview with Pat McAfee and AJ Hawk on Friday, Rodgers revealed that he was almost trapped in Peru before the country closed its borders. The 36-year-old disclosed that he and the three other individuals he was traveling with were able to catch a flight out of the country with 15 minutes to spare.

"That was quite the ordeal," Rodgers said. "Have you seen the movie ‘Argo’? You have? The scene at the end where they’re racing to the airport. Nobody was chasing us, thankfully, or holding us. We didn’t have to speak Farsi to get back into the country, but there was some moments where we worried we were not going to get out. It was absolute pandemonium at the airport."

That sounds terrifying.

Rodgers added that he doubts he would've been able to flee the country before the shutdown if he and his group were flying commercial.

The thought of being trapped in an unfamiliar country is traumatizing and it was surely racing through the mind of the two-time MVP as he tried to book a flight back to the United States. We're just relieved that Rodgers and his traveling companions were able to get out in time.

There's really no limit as to which the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted people.
