Rodgers didn't have to say anything. All he needed to do was post a heart emoji and three pictures of the Packer legend to get his point across, including a couple of the two of them sharing a moment together.

It's rare for any franchise to have one quarterback at the level of Starr, who was named MVP of the first two Super Bowls, but the Packers had three, with Brett Favre and Rodgers serving as fitting successor to Starr's legacy.

But no matter what the future holds for the Packer franchise, there will never be anyone quite like the QB who put Green Bay on the map in the Super Bowl era.
