New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge has been out quite awhile with an oblique injury, and after giving a promising update a couple days ago, the Yankee star is progressing well and hit off a tee yesterday.

Yankee manager Aaron Boone also mentioned that Judge began "taking dry swings" and that he's "not having issues with any of it."

There's still no timetable for his return to the field, but the fact he's taking some swings is very promising. Judge was seen doing some pregame throwing recently, but progressing to working on his swing is even bigger news.

Baby steps, people.

The Yankees have been able to win games during their star's absence, and it's not like he's the only major contributor out of action. Despite the encouraging play from the supporting cast, the Yankees need Judge back in the fold if they want to win the division and go as far as they expect in October.
