Aaron Boone Believes Several Yankees Impact Players Could Return From Injury By Delayed Opening Day
The delayed start to the 2020 MLB season will end up being good for certain players. Those who are injured now are getting more time to recover, while others who were going to open the season on the IL may even be ready for the new Opening Day, whenever that may be.
The New York Yankees had several key players set to open the season injured. Manager Aaron Boone revealed his team could have the likes of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton ready to go when the season does begin.
Aaron Boone told @MLBNetworkRadio that whenever Opening Day does occur, he believes Aaron Judge, James Paxton and Giancarlo Stanton could all be healthy and ready to go.

Boone mentions Judge, Stanton, and James Paxton. Judge is dealing with a stress fracture in his ribs, Stanton suffered a calf strain last month, and Paxton is recovering from offseason back surgery and was expected to return in May. Now all three get a chance to play the entire 2020 season, however long that ends up being.
This is great news for the Yankees and similar updates should begin coming out regarding injured players on other teams. If the season is not going to start for at least two months, players have plenty of time to get healthy.

Having most of the league at full strength will be great for fans. Yankees fans will at least get a portion of the season with all the stars healthy at the same time, assuming the schedule can be played out at all.
