Aaron Boone Provides Injury Update on Aaron Judge That Will Confuse Yankees Fans Even More

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge was set to miss the start of the 2020 MLB season after it was discovered he had a fractured rib and a partially collapsed lung, but the delayed start to the year has some fans wondering if he can return as soon as games are played.
Um...maybe?
A new update on Judge has emerged Tuesday afternoon courtesy of Yankees manager Aaron Boone. The only problem is that there is still no clear message on his status.
" ... All signs are encouraging there and hopefully this time down allows that rib to heal properly and hopefully have him part all this as well.”

Hopefully? Hasn't it...been a while without any activity whatsoever?
We are all essentially back to square one. He is getting another CT scan in a few weeks and all Boone could offer up is that the rib has "hopefully" healed. Updates back in March provided similar information as Judge has been resting and healing.
In this, Aaron Boone called Aaron Judge's recovery from his broken rib "encouraging" and that the outfielder is due for another CT scan in a couple weeks. https://t.co/ITNhmpKoRQ

The weird thing from the situation is that Judge reportedly suffered the injury last September and it was not properly diagnosed until this spring. That could have fans wary of the medical staff once again, and be left wondering if Boone's optimism is worth getting excited about.
The delayed start to the season has allowed Judge to continue healing, but no one will know how the process has actually gone until he gets that next CT scan.
