When we think about wide receivers, the first names that cross our minds are Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, and Odell Beckham Jr. As well known as those names are, these five receivers who have never topped 1,000 yards in the NFL may just be the unexpected difference makers for their team this year.

5. Chris Godwin

Godwin caught 59 passes for 842 yards in 2018, despite being the fourth receiver on the depth chart. Now that his role and volume will increase with the departure of Adam Humphries and Desean Jackson, we can expect Godwin to jump over 1,000 yards and be an impact player for the Bucs.

4. Tyler Lockett

Lockett had 965 yards last season, but despite playing with Russell Wilson for four years, he has never eclipsed 1,000 yards. A large part of that was Doug Baldwin, but unfortunate circumstances have seen Baldwin's career come to an end, pushing Lockett up in the depth charts. If Lockett is going to break 1,000 yards, 2019 will be the year.

3. Robby Anderson

Anderson has shown blazing speed over the last two seasons, but 2018 saw his yardage numbers drop slightly as he hauled in just 50 catches for 752 yards. With Le'Veon Bell now attracting the attention of defenses and Sam Darnold now settled into the NFL, the Jets wide receiver could be in for a career year.

2. Dede Westbrook

Westbrook had 717 yards in 2018 from his 66 receptions, but that was with Blake Bortles throwing to him. Now, he has Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles at QB and with his size and speed combination, Westbrook could become a force in 2019 for the Jaguars.

1. D.J. Moore

Moore had a terrific rookie campaign, catching 55 passes for 758 yards. With a year under his belt and an emphasis on Cam Newton taking less hits, the Panthers wide receiver could become a focal point of the offense, putting him on pace to top 1,000 yards in just his second season, especially given Devin Funchess joined the Colts in the offseason.
