Mike Locksley coming through in the clutch on Signing Day!
The former Alabama OC is building a program in the spitting image of Nick Saban, and he has his signature recruiting class in 2020. Maryland has flipped 5-star wide receiver Rakim Jarrett.

Jarrett had been committed to LSU, but his loyalty had wavered in recent months, with 247sports recruiting experts assuming he could sign with either Ohio State or Tennessee, joining their loaded 2020 classes. Instead, the DC native is staying home, joining Locksley and Maryland in the Big Ten as easily the top recruit in their class.
The second-best receiver in the 2020 class per 247sports, Jarrett has shown advanced route-running ability at a young age paired with breakaway speed that will make scouts drool.
Rather than head to LSU and be just one of many highly-rated targets in Ed Orgeron's 2020 class, Jarrett will separate himself, and is suddenly looked upon as a savior for a Maryland team that went 3-9 this past season.
