5-Star TE Arik Gilbert Names Finalists and Will Commit on Wednesday

One prestigious college football program is set to receive some major news on Wednesday, as 2020 five-star tight end Arik Gilbert will announce his commitment ahead of his All-American Bowl ceremony at the CFB Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Ga.
The No.1 overall tight end in his class also disclosed that he's narrowed down his offers list to Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Texas A&M and LSU.

Listed at a whopping 6-5 and 253 pounds, Gilbert is widely ranked as the No.10 overall prospect in his 2020 class. Folks, tight ends are virtually never rated that high, which tells you all you need to know about the hype surrounding this kid.
Most recruiting databases believe Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide have the advantage in landing the young pass-catcher. It is, however, worth noting that Gilbert was in Athens over the weekend to witness Georgia rout Kentucky during his official visit. He's also taken officials to LSU and Texas A&M.
