5 Random Woj Notifications We Can't Believe We Got Before a Kawhi Leonard Announcement
By Michael Luciano

We know what these last few days have been like for you. You turned on Adrian Wojnarowski's Twitter notifications so you could be the first to know if Kawhi Leonard gives a rose to the Lakers, Clippers, or Raptors. For three days now, you've frantically picked up your phone whenever it buzzed, only to find that Woj fooled us all by tweeting out the most minor of transactions. We're willing to bet these five tweets suckered you in into thinking Kawhi has decided, only to shout some obscenity as you learned Board Man is still out there.
5. Edmond Sumner Stays in Indiana
Sumner is a former second-round pick who averaged 2.9 points per game in 24 games over the last two years in Indiana. He'll be a solid pickup for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, but the Pacers season is unlikely to change with or without Sumner. It's safe to say this signing isn't of the same magnitude as Kawhi.
4. Jake Layman Signs With Minnesota
Layman emerged as a solid contributor last year for the Portland Trail Blazers, and chose to leave for the decision rival Timberwolves on a three-year contract. While that's somewhat important news, did we really needed to be bombarded with the cap logistics and quotes from Layman's agent? This is prime Kawhi time Woj, you should know better
3. Jared Dudley to the Lakers
Woj did report than an Atlantic Division small forward was going to the Los Angeles Lakers, but it was wily veteran Jared Dudley on a vet minimum contract rather than the 2019 Finals MVP. Lakers fans all froze in place for a few seconds, assuming they finally got Kawhi, but were left disappointed when Woj's latest bomb--or maybe it's a firecracker--only brought them a 34-year-old on a minimum deal.
2. Brad Wanamaker to Boston
Really? Brad Wanamaker? Does Brad Wanamaker's family even know he's in the NBA? After scoring just 3.9 points per game in 36 games for the Celtics last year, Wanamaker is as anonymous a name as there is in the league right now. The gulf in importance between the Kawhi signing and Wanamaker re-upping with Boston is so immense it's almost impossible to describe.
1. Woj Replies to Zach Lowe
Trust us, we have the notifications on, and this was sent to our phones for some reason. Is there anything more infuriating? It wasn't even a free agency move or a trade! Just a random reply! We don't question Lowe's knowledge, but this almost made us throw our phones out the window.
