5 NFL Rookies That Will Make an Immediate Impact Next Season

The 2019 NFL draft class was loaded with talent, but these rookies are going to impact their team right away.

It would be a shock if the No. 1 overall pick, Kyler Murray didn't appear on this list. Coming off a successful college career where Murray won the Heisman Trophy, he will look to emulate that success in the NFL. The Arizona Cardinals are not expected to be good, which will give Murray a lot of opportunity to grow as a quarterback. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury will develop Murray nicely. Although Cardinals may not rack up the wins Murray's impact will be felt.

This pick may shock most readers, but Daniel Jones out of Duke will have an impact for the New York Giants. When Jones was picked the Giants received loads of criticism, however now people are changing their minds. With the whole Giants fan base behind him it is now a matter of handing him the keys. As Daniel Jones starts to play more his confidence will continue to blossom. As the Manning era is coming to a close the Jones era is just starting.

Going into the 2019 NFL Draft the Oakland Raiders desperately needed a RB. Josh Jacobs out of Alabama will compete with Doug Martin for the spot. If all goes right Jacobs should have the starting spot by the end of the season. Although Antonio Brown will have a large role in the offense expect Jacobs to contribute right away as well.

The New England Patriots selected N'Keal Harry in the first-round. This was the first time since 1996 the Patriots chose a WR. With Gronkowski retiring from the NFL, the 72 times he was targeted last season will be up for grabs. It will also help that N"Keal will be catching footballs from Tom Brady, who is coming off his sixth superbowl and as motivated as ever. With the old face gone in New England a fresh one has stepped in.

One prospect that caught everyone's eye at the 2019 Combine was D.K. Metcalf. Standing at 6'3" and weighing 229 pounds he is a force to be reckoned with. If the Seahawks can get Metcalf in one-on-one action he should excel. On deeper passes he should be able to outjump most cornerbacks. If all goes well D.K. could end up with 8-12 touchdowns and close to 50 receptions.
