The NHL has become an extremely young league, with some of the biggest names in hockey entering the 2019-2020 season still in their early 20's. Some teams' prospect pools are superior to others and these five are the best the NHL has to offer.

5. Anaheim Ducks

The Anaheim Ducks have a very good farm system, that should produce quality NHL players in the 2019-2020 season. Their 2019 first-round pick, Trevor Zegras is extremely talented, while mature prospects such as Troy Terry, Sam Steel and Max Comtois are ready to take the next step and be consistent NHL players next season.

4. Philadelphia Flyers

First round pick Cam York is a talented defenseman and Carter Hart has now proven that he can be an everyday goalie. Joel Farabee, Morgan Frost, Jay York, Isaac Ratcliffe and Noah Cates all wait in the wings as well, proving the Flyers farm system is as deep as any.

The second overall pick in Kaapo Kakko boosted the Rangers already impressive farm system that has Lias Andersson, Vitali Kravtsov, Adam Fox, K'Andre Miller, Nils Lundqvist, Igor Shesterkin, Ryan Lindgren and Libor Hajek as well. New York is loaded with young talent, a lot of whom will get a shot at the 2019 roster.

Impactful in the few playoff games we saw him play in, Cale Makar headlines an impressive amount of young talent in the Avalanche's system. Their prospect pool also features Martin Kaut, Connor Timmins, Vladislav Kamenev, as well as 2019 draft picks Bowen Byram and Alex Newhook. Yes, they are absolutely loaded.
