As for the 49ers, the team activated Kwon Alexander off the IR on Friday after he was thought to be out for the season. With him back on the field, the team will certainly fare better against the run than initially forecasted. With the injury-riddled defense receiving a boost, they'll look to prevent Cook and Cousins from inflicting damage.

Meanwhile, the 49ers will aim to utilize the developing connection between Garoppolo and Emmanuel Sanders in order to get points on the board.
