The worry is over for San Francisco 49ers fans. People were waiting for things to get settled with star pass-rusher Nick Bosa and that's exactly what happened on Wednesday. According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Bosa and SF came to terms on a five-year extension.

It's a historic one, as Bosa has put the pen to paper on a $170 million contract. With that, he becomes the highest-paid defensive player of all time. With how sensational he has been for San Francisco, it only felt like a matter of time before this news dropped.

Bosa indeed has been a superstar for the 49ers and he's loved all over the Bay Area. With Bosa powering the defense, San Francisco is once again considered a major player in the NFC. Could a trip to the Super Bowl be on the way?

In order for that to happen, Bosa is going to have to live up to the hype and post some more huge numbers. He'll be ready to deliver for this team.
