Even an undefeated season isn't enough for Ed Orgeron and LSU to keep all of their top recruits.

Defensive back Malcolm Greene was thought to be as hard of an LSU commit as there was in the country in the weeks leading up to the Early Signing Period, but he changed his mind at the 11th hour and signed with Clemson.

LSU, Alabama and Clemson were the three horses in the race for Greene, with Dabo Swinney and the Tigers winning out over Ed Orgeron and the Bayou Bengals. Greene can play both corner and safety at 5-10 and 180 pounds, and has the ball skills to be a star.

Right after Greene pledged himself to Clemson, the signing of 5-star defensive end Myles Murphy, a Tigers commit since May, was made official.

Murphy had been in the bag for a while, but now Clemson fans can rest easy knowing that pen has been put to paper and the potentially game-breaking defensive end will join up with the Tigers next season.

Clemson's No. 1 recruiting class will only get stronger as Swinney's Tigers continue to dominate college football.
