4-Star CB Decommits From Oklahoma Following Recent Visit to Ohio State

With recruiting, nothing is ever done until a prospect signs on the dotted line of his National Letter of Intent. For Oklahoma, they learned this the hard way on Wednesday night.
According to multiple reports, 4-star cornerback Ryan Watts has decommitted from the program. His decision comes only a couple of weeks after he took a visit to Columbus to watch Ohio State take on Miami (Ohio). What does this mean?

Per Eleven Warriors, the Buckeyes could have the leg up on Watts' recruitment now that he's no longer a verbal pledge to Lincoln Riley and Co.
Whoever ends up landing the 6-2, 187-pounder will be getting quite the talent. The Texas native, who stars for Little Elm High outside of Dallas, is ranked the No. 15 CB in the nation, per 247Sports. He also holds more than 30 offers.
Thus far in his process, he's taken official visits to Oklahoma, Ohio State and Notre Dame. More trips could be on the way, too.

Watts made official visit to Ohio State for Miami (OH). Says he hopes to make a visit to either the Wisconsin or Penn State game before making final decision
It looks like a final final decision could be on the way soon for Watts. Will it be Ohio State? Will he end up with Wisconsin or Penn State? Who knows? He could end up going back with the Sooners. It looks like everything is up in the air at this point.
