4-Star 2022 DB Commits to LSU as 4-Star 2020 DE Decommits
By Chris Pyo

LSU's defensive line might have just lost a commitment for next year, but they've combated that a bit by landing a commitment from the No. 1 cornerback in the Class of 2022.
While 4r-star defensive end Alec Bryant announced his decommitment to Ed Orgeron's No. 1 ranked team, 4-star cornerback Khamauri Rogers has announced that he plans on heading to LSU.
I WILL BE DECOMMITING FROM LSU AND REOPENING MY RECRUITMENT

Bryant, who's ranked the No. 42 prospect in Texas for the 2020 class, had originally committed to LSU in February of 2019. He's the second lineman to have decommitted from LSU in the past four days, as fellow 4-star recruit Jalen Lee re-opened his recruitment two days ago.
It remains to be seen why exactly Bryant decommitted from LSU. Before offering a verbal commitment to the Tigers, Bryant had offers from the likes of Nebraska, Oklahoma and Oregon.
Meanwhile, LSU has locked up the No. 1 cornerback from the 2022 class in Khamauri Rogers, who plays his ball in Mississippi. The Tigers have also received a verbal commitment from the No. 1 corner in the 2020 class, Elias Ricks, ensuring that their secondary continues to feature some of the best talent in the country.

Nothing less is expected of Orgeron, who heads into the next decade with some of the strongest recruiting classes in all of college football. However, he'll continue to focus on making sure that his team stays on top of the AP rankings at No. 1 this year, with a national championship within his grasp.
