The Detroit Tigers still have a long way to go in their rebuild. Their top pool of talent in the farm system consists primarily of pitchers, and their in need of another injection of solid prospects. Luckily for them, they have several quality players that they can and should unload at the trade deadline to replenish the pipeline.

Buck Farmer might not be the most appealing relief name on the market, but to the right team looking for bullpen help, he could be worth a solid prospect. He's got a 4.33 ERA and 3.68 FIP in 2019 and could net the team a mid-level prospect with upside.

3. Matt Boyd

Boyd is simply a no-brainer. He's a quality arm with plenty of control left on his contract that could net them a nice return. He's not really a necessity considering the massive wad of pitching prospects that the Tigers have waiting in the wings, so he could be the perfect chip to help balance out the spread of talent in the minors.

2. Nicholas Castellanos

Castellanos is a free agent after this season, and he and his career 111 OPS+ are going to command a hefty contract. The Tigers would be wise to get something for him now rather than regretting not moving him when another team throws money at him in the offseason.

1. Shane Greene

Relief arms are at the top of most teams' shopping lists this trade deadline, and Shane Greene just so happens to be one of the best in baseball. With a 1.09 ERA in 33 appearances and another year of control left on his contract, the Tigers could bring in a host of prospects in a deal involving their All-Star reliever.
