4 NFL Teams Stupid Enough to Offer Hue Jackson a Job
By James.r

Hue Jackson has done more than enough to prove that he doesn't belong in a coaching position in the NFL. More than most, in fact. Between his career head coaching record of 11-44-1 and his history of alienating players and front office executives, Jackson's credentials indicate he should spend the remainder of his life watching football from his couch on Sundays (or maybe holding clipboards in the XFL). Somehow, the man still thinks he should get another job-- so here are four teams who just might be dumb enough to give him one in some capacity.
1. Washington Redskins
Redskins owner Dan Snyder and president Bruce Allen have proven to be a formidable duo of ineptitude over the years. Washington consistently makes head-scratching decisions, from signing known abuser Reuben Foster to being impressively and proudly ignorant about the offensiveness of their franchise's own name. Adding Hue Jackson to the mix would create a trio that could rival the Three Stooges for flat-out folly.
2. Detroit Lions
Perhaps the most embattled franchise of the last few decades of NFL history, the Lions are an outfit that consistently gets close to figuring it out before crumbling. They've assembled some workable teams in the last decade, but they seem to be moving back in the wrong direction since the hiring of head coach Matt Patricia. Considering the organization's chroncially low expectations, we wouldn't it past them to hire Hue Jackson as an assistant.
3. Buffalo Bills
Did I say the Lions were the league's most embattled franchise? Don't tell that to Bills fans, who would likely also lay claim to that depressing crown. Buffalo has slowly but surely been moving in a positive direction in recent years, but it's never too late for them to screw things up. Just ask Scott Norwood.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Owner Malcolm Glazer could very well be on the verge of getting forced out as an owner by angry pitchfork-wielding fans of both the Bucs and Manchester United, and hiring Jackson sure could help the fans' case. Glazer's team is the only one on this list to have appeared in a Super Bowl in the last two decades, but he's still made his share of bizarre (and even unethical) decisions. We think Hue Jackson would fit right in with this organization given what they've displayed of late.
