The Atlanta Braves have one of the most stacked farm systems in the MLB right now. Their major league roster is already good and it looks like it will only get better in the coming years.

This isn't to say that their prospects are untouchable, as there are multiple who could find themselves facing the Braves in the coming years if Atlanta is presented with a possible blockbuster trade opportunity that has them part ways with top young talent.

3. Kyle Wright

Wright is the Braves' fourth-ranked prospect and second-ranked right-handed pitcher. The Vanderbilt product is 24 and has struggled in his brief MLB career due to command issues. He has the stuff to be successful, with a mid-90s fastball, two breaking balls, and a killer changeup. If a team sees potential in him and an opportunity to further groom him, it's not out of the question to see him at the major league level with a different team by the end of 2020.

2. Drew Waters

The Braves have some great outfield prospects in Christian Pache and Drew Waters, but if one has to find himself on the outside looking in, it'll likely be Waters. A 21-year old already in Triple-A, Waters ended up hitting .309 through all of 2019, including 29 hits in 26 games during his stint at the highest level. He's an aggressive hitter, though, and has found himself with the third-most strikeouts in the entire Braves organization in 2019. That's just about the only red flag, so teams shouldn't be too concerned. He'll be a high-profile name to watch for in potential trades.

1. Braden Shewmake

Everybody knows Dansby Swanson is the Braves' shortstop of the present and future. Even Braden Shewmake, the Braves' ninth-ranked prospect, knows that. Shewmake has the potential to be something special as he has a high baseball IQ and a massive 6-4 frame. He hit .300 in the minors in 2019 and is a great baserunner and fielder. Unfortunately for the Braves, Swanson probably limits his ability to reach the major league level. If he can't break through with the Braves, there is no doubt another team will swoop in to take the Texas A&M product.
