The Boston Red Sox have not been shy with their desire to get under the luxury tax for the 2020 season. One significant contract they may try to get off the books is David Price and the $32 million he's due next season. Mookie Betts has also been linked with a move out of Beantown, as he only has one year left of control on his contract, before he would likely command a massive deal in 2020 free agency. With that in mind, here are three teams who are financially capable of taking on a Price and Betts package to help the Red Sox get under the luxury tax.

3. San Francisco Giants

The Giants have a decent amount of money to work with this offseason, especially after allowing Madison Bumgarner to join the D-Backs. San Francisco boasts four prospects ranked within the Top 100, as well impressive right-hander Logan Webb. With their solid prospect base, a deal to take on the salary of Price and Betts could be a possibility for the Giants.

2. Atlanta Braves

The Braves no longer seem likely to bring Josh Donaldson back, but one year of Mookie Betts would cost just a bit more than JD did for the team last year. Having already addressed their rotation and bullpen, acquiring Betts from the Red Sox wouldn't be impossible, considering the hefty prospect haul Boston could acquire. Price's involvement could require some more moving pieces, perhaps an expiring veteran contract heading to Boston, but the Braves have the tools to pull it off.

1. Los Angeles Dodgers

There are few teams in baseball who boast spending power like the Los Angeles Dodgers do. Cost will never scare away this team, and it shouldn't in their pursuit of Betts and Price. The Dodgers also own one of baseball's deepest farm systems, meaning that they could avoid parting ways with Gavin Lux while still offering a solid return to the Red Sox. After missing out on some of the biggest names in free agency, the Dodgers will be looking to improve via trades, and the Red Sox represent an ideal partner.
