Jalen Hurts enters the 2020 NFL Draft as one of the most intriguing prospects available. The star quarterback, who enjoyed highly successful stints at both Alabama and Oklahoma, has made clear he won't be changing his position, opting to pursue a career in the pros under center. While some scouts may feel his talents may be best suited at another position, much like Lamar Jackson was, Hurts is looking to prove his naysayers wrong. Hurts is projected to be selected in the middle rounds of the draft, and here are three teams who may be interested in rolling the dice on the 21 year old.

3. Cleveland Browns

Baker Mayfield was once heralded as a top prospect, and did not disappoint in his first season, as he had 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 13 games. However, last season, Mayfield could only muster 22 touchdowns and 21 interceptions in all 16 games, leading his team to an underwhelming 6-10 record. Adding in Hurts not only gives Mayfield competition to add more fire to the former first overall pick, but a talented and versatile backup who could potentially spice up Cleveland's offense.

2. New York Jets

Hurts is a great player who does not shy away from the spotlight, having played with two of the nation's top college programs. Playing in the bright lights of New York should not effect the young QB, especially if Sam Darnold does not improve. Darnold has thrown a total of 36 touchdowns over his first two seasons, a number tied just in one season by Lamar Jackson, who was drafted 29 picks after Darnold in the 2018 draft. While the Jets are still high on Darnold, bringing in Hurts as a safety net could be worthwhile.

1. New England Patriots

Tom Brady's future in New England remains a mystery, which could lead to the Patriots selecting a quarterback in the draft in case the 42-year-old opts to walk in free agency. The team is high on Jarrett Stidham, but a bit of competition would be beneficial for the inexperienced backup. The Pats are facing a lot of questions at quarterback, and with so much uncertainty, maybe they'll take a risk on Hurts.
