Al Horford is the perfect role-playing big man. He is an excellent passer, a capable shooter and stellar defender. However, he has not acclimated well alongside the Philadelphia 76ers stars, namely Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. A change of scenery would be best for the 33-year-old big man, and there are multiple teams that could use his services. These are the three teams that should try to trade for Horford in the offseason.

3. Dallas Mavericks

The 36-24 Dallas Mavericks are led by Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. The team's core is very young, but are still very competitive. Enter Al Horford whose passing prowess and skill in the paint could alleviate pressure from both Doncic and Porzingis. Horford boasts a plethora of playoff experience, which could come in handy on this young team which figures to make multiple trips to the playoffs in the coming years.

2. New Orleans Pelicans

Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram are the future of the Pelicans, but that doesn't mean the team doesn't have room for a veteran leader to help these young studs develop. Horford would take somewhat of a secondary role behind the Pelicans' emerging and flashy stars, but his skill set would mesh well with Alvin Gentry's squad, as he could create additional spacing while also adding another dangerous presence on the interior.

1. Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets' new style of five-out play has been successful thus far, but it remains to be seen how it would hold up in a seven-game series. Well, with 3-point shooting and spacing being the focal point of Houston's offensive identity, Horford could represent the ideal big man for Mike D'Antoni's unique system.
