We are now less than a week away from National Signing Day in college football, and the country's top available prospect is yet to shut things down. So, where Zach Evans land?

The 5-star running back previously signed with the Georgia Bulldogs only to be released from his national letter of intent. Now, he's reportedly down to three schools, per 247Sports.

The Evans sweepstakes will likely come down to either Tennessee, Ole Miss or Texas A&M. He has taken official visits to all three programs.

The nation's No. 2-ranked running back prospect took a visit to LSU earlier this month, but 247Sports is reporting the Tigers have moved on from him. While some fans were hoping UGA might remain in the picture, Kirby Smart and his staff landed a verbal pledge from 4-star running back Daijun Edwards on Thursday, a strong indication that they've likewise turned the page on Evans.

Now, all eyes are on the Vols, Rebels and Aggies in the race for this major talent, with a decision likely to come right on Signing Day on Feb. 5. Evans will undoubtedly make one fan base incredibly happy, while breaking the hearts of the other two.
