3 Recruits Alabama Must Focus on With the NCAA Dead Period Now Over

The 2020 class got off to a great start for Nick Saban and Alabama, as the team inked 22 players during the Early Signing Period. However, they've still got a little bit of space to bring in additional competitors.

With the NCAA Dead Period ending on Thursday night, it's back to the recruiting trail for Saban and Co., with these three guys at the top of the list.

Out of Texas, Ennis Rakestraw didn't sign last month and has seen his recruitment take off ever since. Alabama is considered the favorite for him, though, and he'll be taking an official visit to Tuscaloosa on Jan. 24. He's also got visits scheduled to Missouri and Georgia.

2. DT McKinnley Jackson

How does a 6-2, 327-pound defensive tackle sound for battles in the trenches, Alabama fans? That's exactly what the Tide would be getting if they were able to sign McKinnley Jackson. The Mississippi native is down to Alabama, LSU, Auburn and Texas A&M, with his announcement coming right before National Signing Day.

1. OG Marcus Henderson

Speaking of 300-pound beasts, offensive guard Marcus Henderson would be another major get for the Crimson Tide. He's ranked as the No. 24 OG in the country, and has Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss and a few other schools still in the mix. He's all set to take his Tuscaloosa official visit on Jan. 24.
