It's no secret that the Milwaukee Brewers are in desperate need of rotation help. They rank 22nd in innings pitched and have put an ridiculous burden on their stellar burden. Milwaukee needs to swing a deal for a starter, and if it's not Noah Syndergaard, then it should be one of these three guys.

Matt Boyd's been a popular name on the trade market since May, as the Detroit Tigers are in complete free-fall. Considering he's under team control for the foreseeable future, Boyd is one of the most valuable assets on the market from a starting pitching perspective.

2. Zack Wheeler

If the Brewers want to talk shop with the Mets, then Zack Wheeler should definitely be in the conversation. His 4.69 ERA might seem unhelpful, but he's suffered some bad luck this year. He'd pitch closer to his 3.65 FIP with a solid defense in Milwaukee, and he too could provide the Brewers with plenty of quality innings.

1. Marcus Stroman

Stroman is one of the most highly-coveted starters on this season's trade market for good reason. He excels at limiting home runs, allowing just 0.86 per nine innings, and he owns an impressive 3.18 ERA. He's also got a flamboyant personality and could give Milwaukee an extra spark to surge ahead of their NL Central foes in the division standings.
