NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan put together a career like no other. His athleticism, leadership, and clutch shot-making helped cement his status as one of the NBA's greatest of all-time.

It's been 22 years since Jordan's last championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1998, and 17 years since his last game in 2003. MJ is decades removed from his prime playing years, yet many of his records still stand to this day.

Here are three of his records that will never be broken.

3. Highest Scoring Average in an NBA Finals Series

In the 1993 NBA Finals, Michael Jordan dominated the Phoenix Suns. He tore up the Phoenix defense in every game of the Chicago Bulls' 4-2 series win, averaging 41 points per game. Even in a modern era where the prevalence of the 3-point shot has increased the potential for any player to have a big scoring night, it's impossible for anyone else to maintain such high scoring over a full series.

2. Most Scoring Titles Won in a Career

Michael Jordan's scoring prowess is unparalleled. He always got his shot off, whether it was a layup at the rim or a fadeaway shot from mid-range. Jordan holds the record for most scoring titles in his career, having led the NBA in scoring in 10 different seasons. The only person who could stop Jordan from scoring was himself. He could've lead the NBA for 12 straight seasons, if not for his short retirement from 1993-1995 to play baseball.

Even spending two seasons scoring around 20 points per game (PPG) for the Washington Wizards at 38 and 39 years old couldn't stop Jordan from being the highest points per game scorer in NBA history. Jordan scored 30.12 PPG across his entire 15-season career. An NBA player is an MVP contender for averaging over 30 PPG in just one season. To do it across your entire career is almost unthinkable.
