3 Impending Giants Free Agents With the Most to Prove in 2020

The New York Giants are in the beginning stages of their rebuilding process, so they don't have many big names coming up for free agency.

However, they are signing a handful of short-term contracts these days, and those players have even more to prove than the franchise athletes.

3. Cameron Fleming

Fleming signed a one-year deal with the Giants this year, so he needs to prove his worth if he wants to stay in New York in 2021. He'll be competing with the ever-expensive Nate Solder for the starting slot, so he's not going to have an easy path. He's been reunited with former Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, so that should help him fit into the Giants' scheme.

2. Kyler Fackrell

Like Fleming, Fackrell was a free agent this year who signed a single-year deal with the Giants. His position in their lineup is completely up in the air until Markus Golden makes a decision about where he'll take his talents. Fackrell needs to make a case for himself as a solid replacement for Golden in order to stay on the team's roster moving forward.

1. Aldrick Rosas

Rosas had the worst field goal percentage of his career last season after making the Pro Bowl in 2018. Despite his poor 2019 performance, the Giants are keeping Rosas on the roster as of right now. He needs to show a significant return to form during training camp and on the field if he wants to keep his job for the rest of this year, much less as a free agent in 2021.
