3 Biggest Surprises in Ohio State's Depth Chart Reveal
By Jerry Trotta

On Friday, the Ohio State Buckeyes released their team's first depth chart, one day before their season-opening clash against Florida Atlantic on Saturday afternoon.
As always, some of the positional rankings caught us off guard. So, without further ado, let's highlight the three biggest surprises of the Buckeyes' 2019 depth chart.
3. Three Starting CB's
This might come as a shock to most, but OSU did NOT list three starting cornerbacks prior to their regular-season debut in 2018. Jeffrey Okudah, Damon Arnette, and Shaun Wade are set to start, with Sevyn Banks, Cameron Brown and Amir Riep listed as the three reserves.
2. Jashon Cornell Starting at DE
Cornell has rotated heavily this offseason, and in years past, from both defensive end and defensive tackle. To see the graduate senior slated to start opposite Chase Young is genuinely stunning. However, he might lose his spot as soon as Jonathan Cooper returns from injury.
1. No Changes at LB from 2018
Due to their underwhelming performance last season, Buckeyes Nation was clamoring for some sort of changes to the starting linebacking core from 2018 -- Malik Harrison, Tuf Borland, and Pete Werner. As it turns out, their wishes were not granted. Head coach Ryan Day surprisingly opted for Borland instead of sophomore Teradja Mitchel.
