Everybody loves a hometown hero, a guy who brings joy and success to one city for the better portion of his life. And no fanbase is more passionate and appreciative of the hometown hero than the Wisconsin Badger-Green Bay Packers fanbase. So, with that in mind, let's take a look at the greatest players to ever play for both the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers.

3. Ken Stills, DB

The father of current Miami Dolphins receiver Kenny Stills, Ken was a solid safety for the Packers in the late 1980s. After being drafted in the eighth round in 1985, Stills played in 65 games for the Packers, racking up 7 interceptions and 4 fumble recoveries over 5 seasons.

2. Arnie Herber, QB/HB

Here's a name you've probably never heard. Arnie Herber joined the Packers as a tailback in 1930 before developing into the league's premier passer in a run-heavy league. He won four NFL Championships and was the league leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns three times each. The Wisconsin football legend was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1966.

1. Mark Tauscher, OT

For a seventh-round pick, Tauscher ended up being a major steal. After the Packers selected him in 2000, the 315-pound beast played in 134 games at right tackle over a 10-year career with the Pack. He earned a Super Bowl ring in his last season in the league in 2010, and he's now a member of the Packers Hall of Fame.
