While the Red Sox may not have one of the best farm systems in the MLB, their young talent that has already made an impact in Boston is outstanding. These three youngsters all have extremely bright futures with the Red Sox. They will be even more important as the Sox adjust to a world without Mookie Betts.

3. Michael Chavis

While Michael Chavis started to struggle down the stretch of the 2019 season, he showed some great promise in his rookie campaign. He hit 18 home runs and 58 RBIs in 95 games, which projects to 31 homers and 99 RBIs for a full 162 games -- not bad at all for a rookie season. Chavis' glaring issue is his inability to hit high fastballs. If he can work on this issue, he'll have the potential to be a cornerstone for the Red Sox moving forward.

2. Alex Verdugo

In the aftermath the Mookie Betts trade, it's tough to be happy with anything the Sox got in return. However, without the context of the trade itself, Alex Verdugo is a very exciting player for the future. He had a solid year at the plate last season, hitting .294 in 106 games. Verdugo is also already an outstanding outfielder. He has an absolute cannon of an arm, providing six assists from the outfield last season. He still has a lot to prove, but the potential is clearly there for Verdugo.

1. Rafael Devers

What is there to say about Rafael Devers? At 22, he was already one of the best hitters in the AL last season, batting for a .311 average, while also leading the MAJORS in total bases. He finished 12th in MVP voting, which is absolutely outstanding for a 22-year-old. The sky is truly the limit for Devers at the plate, as he has the potential to become one of the greatest hitters in the league. He's the youngest player on this list while also by far the best.
